Today's young professionals are opting for establishing their careers first, rather than starting early families. However, they are still looking for attractive housing not available in apartment living. There are storage issues and suitable entertaining space associated with an active lifestyle.
This design addresses those requirements, but also incorporates adequate visitors'
sleeping quarters for friends and family members, as well as providing ample home office space for remote working. There are also bathrooms on all levels to support that flexibility.
The actual footprint of this unit is no larger than a two-car garage, with less than 800 square feet, incorporating 3 levels. A large pyramidal skylight illuminates 2 levels using a sleeping loft overlooking the main living area.
There is an optional 2-car carport with a rooftop patio off the sleeping area.
